Recognized as the first and oldest Port house in Port wine history, celebrating their 379th year of continuous production. - They still stencil the lettering by hand like they did in the 1600’s! Deep inky garnet, highly pigmented, super long staining legs.
On the nose: Thick with raisins and liquorice, whiff of citrus, dusty minerals and spice.
In the mouth: Good concentration, still has a bit of squeaky tannins, tiny bit of alcohol heat, but a nice long finish. Its really shaping up and will only get better.
