Inchmurrin is the name given to the single malt whisky produced at the Loch Lomond distillery, situated near the water's edge of one of Scotland's most famous Loch's. This new expression has been matured in a number of American oak barrels, then married together for further maturation in Madeira casks. These casks bring out the orchard fruit (peach, pear, nectarine) flavours found in Inchmurrin, adding spice flavours of nutmeg and a dry nuttyness in the finish from the oak.
