Made from hand-harvested fruit grown in two small blocks on the western point of the island, this wine combines ripe stone-fruit richness with savoury complexity, fine texture and a refreshing mineral character.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe 2023 vintage is a blend of 86% Viognier and 14% Marsanne. A portion of the fruit was foot-stomped before pressing, while the remainder was whole-bunch pressed. Fermentation and maturation took place in a combination of a concrete egg and French acacia barrels, with the wine resting on fine lees for nine months to build texture and depth.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eDry, concentrated and beautifully layered, this is a Viognier with plenty of personality. Its combination of ripe fruit, savoury phenolics and earthy minerality makes it equally enjoyable on its own or alongside food.
